Seasonal: Its begining to look a lot like Christmas (almost)
November 16th, 2009 10:12 AM

Signs of the upcoming holidays are popping up all around Chattanooga. The giant snowflakes are hung on Walnut Street bridge, in anticipation for the Grand Illumination of the River (Nov. 27th), and stores in the North Shore and Warehouse Row are already preparing for the gift-giving season.

Every town has their own holiday traditions, and my hometown was no exception.  While it is a little strange to be away from home during this season, it is also very exciting to be in a new place, and be able to experience new holiday traditions. I’m looking forward to Rock City’s Enchanted Garden of Light, the Grand Illumination on the River, and picking up some fun, unique presents for my friends and family at the Chattanooga Holiday Market.  I’m excited to create some NEW holiday traditions for myself, and am excited about all of the fun events Southeast Tennessee has to offer this time of year.
