Directions: I-75 Exit 25. Proceed toward Cleveland on TN 60. Travel a short distance and turn left on 25th Street. Travel 1.6 miles and turn right on N Lee Hwy/N Ocoee St. Monument is across from Lee University.

In 1866, business leader P. M. Craigmiles announced the beginning of post-Civil War recovery in Cleveland with the construction of this impressive Italianate-style brick home. The historic dwelling is now home to the Local History Collection of the Cleveland Public Library, which contains significant records about the Civil War and Reconstruction years in Bradley County and East Tennessee.
