since 1968. In addition to regular tours, visitors may view stones from the original

was begun as the Christian Union in 1886, a rotunda with a mosaic mural and a prayer plaza. The mosaic mural is located in the lobby of the Global Evangelism building. It is comprised of three million pieces of Venetian mosaic tile and was created by Italian artist Sirio Tonelli. The exterior of the rotunda depicts the descent of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost as recorded in Acts 2. The inside of the rotunda depicts the history of the

in twelve different scenes. Other art is also on display in the lobby of the Global Evangelism building.
A prayer plaza and garden is situated between the three buildings. A circular walkway is marked at intervals with Bible passages emphasizing prayer. A continually burning flame is in the center of the garden and three bronze sculptures define three points of a cross. “The Divine Servant” is a sculpture of Jesus washing the feet of a disciple. “Fisher of Men” is a sculpture of Jesus holding a fishing net, and “The Great Commission is a large glob framed with an open Bible. The prayer plaza and garden are open at all times. The mural and other artwork in the Global Evangelism building is open during normal business hours. Tours of the International Offices are scheduled twice a day and by appointment.
