One of the world’s largest producers of shape-note music song books, and “southern gospel” music.  In addition to its own publications, today the press owns the complete rights to music published by James D. Vaughan, who is considered the father of southern gospel music and singing schools he used to promote his song books.  The recent revitalization of this music by Bill Gaither’s “Homecoming” videotapes have made this style of music a growing industry.  The press offers tours to the public two times per day.
