This is the oldest standing church in the county, built in 1850. The oldest grave is dated 1865. Extensive records have been kept including deeds, membership roles and pictures. Documents show that the first offering at the church collected one nickel for the minister. Decoration Day is held on the 4th Sunday in June and includes preaching and singing.
