The children's Creative Discovery Museum is hands-on fun that enables children and adults to meet the inventor, artist, musician and/or scientist that live within them. The 42,000 square-foot children's museum promotes discovery through sight, sound and exploration. Dig for dinosaur bones in the field scientist's laboratory. Crank up a series of ingenious electrical gadgets in the inventor's workshop. Activate giant musical instruments that play a tune.
Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:45pm
Cost: $7.95 Adults/ $6.95 Children (ages 2-12)
Directions: Traveling US Highway 27 North, take exit 1-C right onto 4th Street. Left on Chestnut Street (first stoplight). Go one block to the first stoplight at the intersection of Chestnut and Third Street. Turn left or right for Republic Parking.
