This 300-acre arboretum, botanical garden and historic site is dedicated to the study and conservation of native plant life. There are over 1,000 species of flora and over 150 species of trees, a three-mile driving road and over 12 miles of hiking trails. There are two native plant sales each year: Spring Wildflower Festival and Native Plant Sale in April, and Fall Open House and Native Plant Sale in September.
Hours: 9am-5pm, Mon-Sat, 1pm-5pm Sundays, Closed major holidays
Directions: Off I-24, at the western base of Lookout Mountain, take Browns Ferry Road Exit to Cummings Hwy. Turn left toward Lookout Mountain. Take the first right at the signs for Reflection Riding.
