This family-owned business started in 1923 and is now operated by the fourth generation of the Mayfield family. Enjoy a free, fun-filled educational tour and see how Mayfield Dairy Farms produces milk and ice cream products. Tours include a history video and guided walking tour of the production plant. The visitor center houses a unique gift shop and ice cream parlor.
Hours: Open year round: 9am-5pm Mon-Fri, 9am-2pm Saturdays
*Last tour begins 1 hour before closing
Directions: From I-75, take Exit 52 (Mt. Verd). Head East toward Athens. Go 4.3 miles. Left on Mayfield Lane. Visitor Center is on the right.
