Herb Shop and Leather Shop open by appointment year-round. Tea Room open end of March to Christmas by reservation for groups of 8-23 for high tea or tea and crumpets.
This peaceful retreat atop the Cumberland Plateau offers high tea in an English Country Victorian Tea Room located in a log home (by reservation for groups). Your hosts, dressed in Victorian attire, serve baked goods, tea sandwiches, fruits, dessert and teas. Proprietor Cathy Shannon, a certified nutritional herbalist, offers an herbal garden tour, ending with a visit to the gift shop and the gentleman's Leather Shop.

North on Hwy.127 from Pikeville toward Crossville; turn left just past 22 mile marker onto Big Springs Gap Rd.(sign for Garden Gate Herbs); 2 miles up mountain; entrance on the left.
