Crabtree is a nonprofit project for the education and research of sustainable agriculture. Includes a community garden and urban farm, and only organic growing methods are used. 200 kinds of vegetables, herbs and flowers are grown. Plant sales are held in the Spring and Fall. Workshops, farm tours and a farm stand are offered. Admission is free, but there is a fee for tours. Sequatchie Cove Farm grass fed meats are for sale at this site.
Crabtree goods are sold at weekly Farmer’s Markets: Lookout Mountain Farmer’s Market, Chattanooga Market and Mid-Week Business District Market.
