At the nearby state park you can fish and boat in the 345 acre lake, picnic, tee off at the 18 hole golf course, hike or bicycle the miles of trails, and swim in the bottom pool of Cane Creek Cascades or the Olympic sized pool. The park is home to one of the highest waterfalls east of the Rockies, plunging 256 feet into a cool, shaded pool.
