Walking into Clements Antiques is like opening a treasure chest filled with amazing and beautiful jewels. Here you will find hand-selected antiques collected from around the world. All of these items are displayed with pride and demonstrate our dedication to providing antiques of the highest possible quality to our clients.

In 1938, Charles W. Clements Sr. founded Clements Antiques and it has remained a family business since that time. Perhaps you can understand why our intergrity and reputation mean so much to us. Clements was founded with the idea of doing business in an orderly and honest manner and that remains the underlying characteristic of our company.

When you visit Clements Antiques, you enter a large warehouse with rows of white marble statues outside. Once in the door, you hardly know where to look. There are huge chandeliers, row after row. There are chests and desks and candlesticks and cupboards full of china, more statues, Oriental Urns, French ormula. You glance up and notice hundreds of oil paintings. This goes on for row after row, room after room.

Behind the front desk, a big English mahogany one, sits Charles Wallace Clements Jr., son of the founder. He is a likable native, who talks with a Tennesse twang and usually wears a grin.

A little over thirty years ago, he started out working with his father in the business as a 'picker', going from house to house, buying pressed glass, antique coffee grinders and so on. Today he is the largest antique dealer in the South, with the Clements Antiques outlet in Chattanooga .
