Hiking in the South Cumberland State Recreational Park
You can take home special memories hiking in this area.

South Cumberland is a hikers paradise with a selection of trails to suit almost any interest and physical capabilities.  All trails are marked with directions and are easy to follow.  There are numerous trails for day trips and loop trails that will bring you back to where you started.

Spectacular Bluff overviews can be seen in Savage Gulf, Collins Gulf, at Foster Falls, on the Fiery Gizzard, and along the Stone Door hiking trail.

Savage Gulf - 65 miles (connects several trails)
Fiery Gizzard Trail - 13 miles, difficult but spectacular
Grundy Lake Coke Ovens - 2 miles, easy
Grundy Forest Day Loop - 2 miles, moderate
Dog Hole Trail - 8 miles, moderate to Sycamore Blue Hole Falls
Greeter Falls - 1 mile, easy
Stone Door - 1 mile, easy, accessible to persons using a wheelchair
Savage Gulf - 2 miles, easy
Laurel Falls - 3 miles, easy
