Roger and Dianna Gupton invite you to step back in time to a more genteel era in their newly restored Greek Revival Home. The Historic Magnolia House, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was built in 1890 by Dr. Walter Thomison for his 16-year-old bride as a wedding present.
As you enter the front door of The Historic Magnolia House, you know you're in for more than just a bed & breakfast. Rich warm woods invite you to take off your coat and sit a spell. And if you're wearing a hat, it will be in good company with a collection of vintage hats for guests to wear while taking tea in one of the two parlours. In the back of the hall stands an antique French armoire filled with tea and tea accoutrements for tea enthusiasts, along with many other accessories and antique furniture, for everything in the Magnolia House can be purchased. Three guest rooms are easily accessed by climbing the "ladies steps" staircase.

Come in and bring your friends or that special someone, and leave the rest up to us. You will experience the best food, service, and atmosphere the Upper Cumberland has to offer. Reservations are available but not required. Groups are always welcome. We can accomodate parties from 12 to 200 (Please make reservations for groups over 12 to insure available seating). We offer private rooms and catering services as well. Note: no dress code required.
Hours of Operations:
Lunch: Tuesday - Sunday 11am-3pm
Dinner: Thursday - Saturday 5pm-9:30pm
