If you are thinking about doing something exciting, here is a wonderful suggestion: Go visit Barry and Louis and the captains at the Chattanooga DUCKS and The COMMAND POST Museum. What a blast! Just a half hour's drive from Cleveland - you'll be plucked down in the middle of another world.

You're getting ready to climb into an authentic World War II amphibious vehicle, where you're going to drive around historic downtown Chattanooga and hear some pretty neat stuff about our area. Then you're going to - you guessed it - splash into the Tennessee River! As you ride up the river, you will get a unique view of the beautiful new cascading Cherokee Indian waterfall at the Tennessee Aquarium, as your captain tells you even more history, this time about East Tennessee 's Cherokee heritage.

The Chattanooga Duck's are unique ex-military amphibious vehicles made for the US Army to land troops on beaches during wartime. The Ducks are equally at home on land or water. The Captian on board will tell you about Maclellan Island, the Tennessee River, Cherokee Indian History, and places of natural and historical interest.

There are a lot more thrills awaiting you, especially if you allow some extra time before or after your Duck-Ride to explore The COMMAND POST Museum. A recent addition to the Chattanooga DUCKS, the Museum adds a new dimension to an already fun attraction.

Browse through this new exhibit and check out how East Tennessee heroes contributed to the largest wars in world history. You won't think you're doing anything but hanging out talking about stuff - with some really nice, really funny guys. That's the neat thing about the Chattanooga DUCKS and The COMMAND POST Museum - you are doing that real trendy thing adults and kids are into these days - it's called EDU-TAINMENT - (get it?) - Taking in the history of our area, learning about local heroes and lore - while being highly entertained at the same time.
