There is a carnival, and a poultry show, a cattle show and sale, and a car show and pretty baby contest, as well as a beauty pageant and a gospel sing. Music performances include fine country, rock, rockabilly, and jazz acts. Consult the schedule for details about who will be performing and times. The fair takes place at the fairgrounds in Decatur.
Directions: From I-75, take the Athens/Decatur Exit, and travel toward Decatur on Highway 30. Go 14 miles, then turn right behind the Regions Bank on Main Street to the fairgrounds.
