Marion County Fair
Jasper, TN

The Fair is held the third weekend in September.

The fair showcases local artisans, gardeners, and stock raisers, with exhibits of livestock, farm animals, flowers, homegrown produce, and home-cooked baked and canned goods. There is an art and home arts display carnival rides petting zoo, and business exhibits.

Music includes regional and local rock and country bands, as well as a Nashville country headliner. In past years, this has included the likes of Billy Joe Shaver and Jett Williams.

Formerly held in Jasper City park. It has moved to a larger spot behind the Dairy Queen on Main Street in Jasper, TN.

One fun feature of the fair has been the Demolition Derby. Local auto shops and other businesses sponsor a souped-up full-sized sedan which bashes its way to victory in a series of elimination rounds. The audience cheers from the stands, safely out of the way of the action on the dirt track. You can root for the car and driver that you like best. The last car left running is the winner.

Suitable for large groups.
Bus parking available.
The fairgrounds are wheelchair accessible, but rough ground.
Concessions of a variety of fair food is available.
A
dmission costs are low, typically $6 for adults and $4 for children.
