The annual Bill Poteet Memorial Bluegrass Festival is held Friday and Saturday in early September. The daughter of this well-known local mandolin player organizes the festival at the Delano Community Club.
The festival has a selection of fine bluegrass and old-time bands.
The organizers advertise 'lots of good home cooking along with plenty of Grandma's deserts both Friday and Saturday. Famous Lion's Club Pit Barbeque on Saturday.'
