This festival takes place on the last weekend in August, on Highway 411, in Benton. This is one of the last free fairs in Tennessee. There is no admission and all the entertainment is free each night.
In addition, there are rides, exhibits and displays that are brought by community organizations. Special events are the 4-H Pullet show and sale; the rabbit contest; sheep; beef, and dairy show and sale, cat and dog shows, and good old bluegrass music.
