This jam session has been the mainstay of the Chattanooga area for over 20 years. Hosted for years by store owner, Clyde Blaylock, it takes place each Saturday evening from 7pm-10pm. The store provides music lessons, and this jam session is the opportunity for students and community musicians alike to come and participate in a friendly jam. Some of the most skilled bluegrass jammers participate regularly in this jam session
Brian Blaylock, local professional Bluegrass musician, got his start --at the age of 3-- at Blaylock Music. His father, Clyde, owns the store, and started him in the family band as soon as he could hold a banjo. Brian works in the music store when he is not touring with -- among other bands--Tim Graves and Cherokee.
Suitable for mid-sized groups.
