SHAMROCK CITYROCK CITY’S GREEN ST. PATRICK’S DAY CELEBRATION

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, GA.  Looking for the luck of the Irish?  On Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16 from 12 – 6 pm, visit Rock City’s first Irish celebration and festival featuring music, food and other entertainment!  “Go green” as visitors enjoy green fudge from Rock City’s fudge kitchen, green foods, green accessories and a green waterfall cascading down Lookout Mountain!

Several bands are scheduled to perform in the pavilion, including the Chattanooga Pipe Band, the Molly Maguires, Celtic Plains and OLTA.  From Celtic, Irish and Scottish music, to guitars, fiddles, percussion and Riverdance-style, these bands offer a wide variety with something for everyone!

Enjoy Irish food and specialty beer by Big River just for this event - “Irish Red Lager.”  Come take an Irish jig dance lesson with Jeff Sandy and indulge in some festive face paintings!

Festivities are free with regular Rock City admission!  Located only six miles from downtown Chattanooga, Tenn., Rock City is a 14-acre natural and scenic attraction with unique rock formations and gardens atop Lookout Mountain.  Over half a million visitors tour Rock City Gardens every year.  Log onto www.seerockcity.com/shamrockcity for more info on the weekend’s events and the entertainment lineup.
